MPs back campaign for David Attenborough statue

Two Leicestershire MPs are backing a colleague's campaign for a statue or other monument to be erected in honour of the broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough.

Rutland and Stamford MP Alicia Kearns and MP for Leicester South Shockat Adam have both signed a petition set up by Scottish MP Johanna Baxter calling for a significant tribute to the Leicester-born legend.
