John Travolta makes his directing debut at the 79th Cannes Film Festival
At the age of 72, Hollywood icon John Travolta has directed his first film - and the inspiration has come from the actor's love of aviation. 'Propeller One-Way Night Coach' is an adaptation of a children's book he wrote in 1997, telling the story of a boy's aeroplane journey across the US in the 1960s.
Travolta, who is also a qualified pilot, premiered the film at this year's Cannes Film Festival, where he was also given an Honorary Palme D'Or for his acting career.
Tom Brook met him for BBC Talking Movies.
