Helping families face dementia together

National Volunteers Week celebrates the people shaping communities across the UK. We’re spending some time with just a few of those making a difference in West Yorkshire. Memory Action Group in Wakefield has grown from small home meet ups into a local charity. It now runs weekly sessions offering support, information and friendship for people with dementia and carers, alongside an annual event that brings the wider community together.
