Strange mirages spotted off North Cornwall coast
The hot weather has been creating some strange effects out at sea. Mike Hancock from St Ives Boats was off the coast recently and spotted something odd on the horizon. This kind of mirage is known as a Fata Morgana, a giant trick of light caused by air layers of different temperatures acting like a fun house mirror.
Mike has been speaking to James Churchfield about what he saw.
