Joel Fearon. From ice to inspiration
Coventry-born Olympian Joel Fearon, known for his achievements in sprinting and bobsleigh, has added author to his list of talents with the release of his first children’s book, Just Be Brave.
Fearon, who won a bronze medal for Team GB in the four-man bobsleigh at the 2014 Winter Olympics, says the book draws on his own life experiences, from chasing sporting dreams to overcoming personal tragedy. He's been speaking to BBC CWRs JD about becoming an author, his time on the track and the ice and rubbing shoulders with Snoop Dogg.
