Walking 100 miles in 24 hours
“We’re tired, aching, but we’re both still smiling.”
Two men have taken on an incredible challenge to raise money for a Shropshire dog rescue centre.
Kieron Weaver and Jim Brace attempted to walk 100 miles in just 24 hours for Hilbrae Rescue Kennels near Shawbury, with some of the rescue dogs joining them along the way.
BBC Radio Shropshire’s Adam Green got the latest from Hilbrae’s Jo Wrate, before speaking to Kieron Weaver just after he crossed the finish line.
