Our Planet Our Pledge: 100 years of Attenborough
Schools across Leicestershire are invited to help mark Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday.
Hear from Steve Dewhurst from the Woodland Trust and Burton on the Wolds Primary, Redmile Primary and Mercenfeld Primary who have signed up to be involved.
The aim of Our Planet Our Pledge is simple: take action for the planet in honour Sir David Attenborough.
Schools that pledge can choose any activity that feels appropriate and fits their community, curriculum, and environment, and in return, a tree will be donated to them from the Woodland Trust.
Then on Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday - the schools involved will take part in a county‑wide 'Day of Environmental Action.
