Musical visits from Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra are helping improve patient health.
We know that music can have the power to change our moods, patients in hospitals in Southampton and parts of Dorset are also getting to experience how music can improve their health.
Teams of musicians from Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra have been leading music-making sessions as well as performances to patients.
BBC Radio Solent has been along to one of their sessions at Alderney Hospital in Poole, and Steve Harris has been speaking to Suzy Rushbrook and Caroline Barnes from Dorset County Hospital Foundation Trust.
