Could Worcestershire get a herd of bison?
Mark Craythorne, who lives near Astwood Bank, has secured a 30-acre patch of woodland outside Worcester - he's trying to raise fifty thousand pounds to develop the site and transport the beasts down from Durham.
Their current owners are getting too elderly to look after them. If they don't have a new home by August they'll be slaughtered - which Mark is desperate to avoid.
Gavin Kermack reports.
