Bradford bikes ready to ride
Bradford has introduced 200 Beryl e-bikes and 50 docking stations across the district, with the aim to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality in Bradford, supporting the district’s Climate Action Plan. Revenue from the Bradford Clean Air Zone, launched just over three years ago, it now helps fund initiatives such as the new e‑bike scheme. Rima Ahmed spoke to Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council's Executive Member for Healthy People and Places.
