Damaged war memorial gets a makeover
Once damaged by fire in the 1970s, Fulwell's local war memorial is now being brought back to life with striking steel poppies and a restored bronze plaque. It's a £50,000 project but not without its challenges, including recent vandalism. Gilly spoke to Councillor Michael Hartnack and sculptor Colin Wilbourn.
