A midwife's baby carried by her best-friend and surrogate
A midwife who was born without a womb will soon deliver her own baby, thanks to her best friend who offered to be her surrogate.
Georgia Barrington was diagnosed with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome at the age of 15, which meant she was born without a womb and would not be able to carry a child.
During their teenage years, her childhood best friend Daisy Hope made a lighthearted promise to carry her baby one day. More than a decade later, she followed through on that promise.
