What are SIM swapping scams?

93% of households have at least one mobile phone, but imagine picking yours up, only to find you couldn't access your online accounts, send texts or even make a call. That's what happens when you've been targeted by a SIM swap scam.

Scam Interceptors' Nick Stapleton's had an influx of people getting in touch about them and wants to make sure nobody else falls victim of the con, which can result in you losing thousands. He explains exactly how fraudsters manage to 'steal' your phone's content without even leaving the house, and why keeping on top of your email inbox could help you spot if it's happened to you.
