Garden gift: ‘This is a place I can feel safe in’
A Hertfordshire designer is taking his Chelsea Flower Show creation to a cancer hospital. Tom Stuart-Smith, from Serge Hill in Herts, won a Chelsea gold medal for his National Garden Scheme Garden. Following the show, it’s being relocated to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge to become part of a new Maggie’s Centre for people undergoing cancer treatment.
