Bridge blast: 'I suspect it was a Ukrainian attack' says MP
A key rail and road bridge connecting Russia with occupied Crimea has been severely damaged by a huge explosion. Video footage showed sections of the road bridge collapsed and fuel tankers on the parallel railway line ablaze. Russian investigators say at least three people were killed.
The bridge, which was opened by President Putin in 2018 after Russia's annexation of Crimea, is an important supply route for Russian forces fighting in southern Ukraine.
Ivanna Klympush-Tsinsadze, who is an MP for Ukraine's opposition European Solidarity party, says she suspects it was a Ukrainian attack and it will "cut lines of supply".
