John McEnroe: ‘Nick Kyrgios is un-coachable…but he’s a genius’

Seven-time Grand Slam champion John McEnroe said he has offered help and support to Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios multiple times, but he always finds “an excuse”.

Speaking to 5 Live’s Rick Edwards, McEnroe said: "But he's [Kyrgios] got demons you know, in a way - we all have this fear of failure and it's a question of how you best deal with it."

He was speaking ahead of the release of ‘McEnroe’, which is in UK-wide cinemas on 15 July 2022.
