Ukraine: Three women raise over £100k and it all started on social media
Three women who previously didn't know each other have raised nearly £110,000 ($140,000) to help evacuate black students from Ukraine and it all started with a tweet. Patricia Daley and Tokunbo Koiki who are both UK based, saw a post by Korrine Sky a medical student in Ukraine, documenting her journey of trying to leave the country. The trio got in contact on Twitter to coordinate a campaign together and they also set up a GoFundMe page. Tokunbo Koiki has been speaking to Focus on Africa's Esau Williams.
