St Helens women's rugby league captain Jodie Cunningham on how it all began.

Jodie Cunningham is St Helens rugby league captain, 2021 Woman of Steel, Challenge Cup winner, Super League Champion and represents England playing the sport she loves. Originally growing up in Warrington, she now plays for St Helens women's team.
It wasn't always what she wanted to do, but from early on, family, friends and those in the game knew she'd go on to become a star of the sport.
