Africa now faces a perfect storm for COVID-19 due to the Delta variant... that's the conclusion of a new report from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. In the foreword, the former British Prime Minister wrote: 'The speed and scale of the third wave of Covid-19 is unprecedented in Africa and it risks overwhelming health systems across the continent.' He also advocates for an increase of vaccines to Africa. Well, Tony Blair has been speaking to Focus on Africa's Esau Williams, who put it to him that the real problem is the distribution of vaccines in Africa rather than just the volume.
