'Taliban should respect the rights and dignity of all Afghans'
Tajikistan says more than a thousand Afghan government soldiers have fled across the border as the Taliban make significant gains in northern Afghanistan. The Taliban now control about a third of Afghanistan. Fawzia Koofi is a member of the Afghan negotiating team with the Taliban in Qatar. She is also a women's rights activist and has survived two assassination attempts. Speaking from Doha, she told Newshour the recent developments were extremely concerning.
