'Government should protect EU citizens' rights'
The UK government must "take the initiative" and say it "will protect EU citizens' rights", leading Vote Leave figure Gisela Stuart told the Today programme.
The Labour MP, who will head a research project on how to protect EU citizens' rights after Brexit, said the duty of politicians is "to be humane".
