Palmyra's Arch of Triumph recreated in London

The ruins of the ancient city of Palmyra were once some of the most beautiful in the world, combining eastern and western architecture. However, during the Syrian conflict the temples, buildings and ornate tombs were badly damaged.

Now a 20 foot replica of the 2,000 year old Arch of Triumph, which was made using 3D printing technology, is being displayed in Trafalgar Square in London.

The original was blown up by so-called Islamic State in October.

Roger Michael, from the Institute of Digital Archaeology, which recreated the arch, speaks to Martha Kearney from the site.
