"We have collected the amount of tax that is due under the law"
Jim Harra, Head of Business Tax at HMRC, said he understood the public's frustration over the way tax is collected from large corporations. But he defended HMRC’s handling of Google’s tax affairs.
Harra was speaking to Martha Kearney for the first time since the Google row broke.
