Egypt's Mahragan
Its critics call it Egypt's gangster rap but Mahragan is a new style of pop music that is rapidly gaining popularity across the Arab world. It is mostly heard on loudspeakers during weddings in Cairo's densely-populated low-income inner city quarters and can turn into huge block parties. But opinion is split over the quality of music and lyrics. So what did the BBC's Ali Gamal find out while he was out and about in Cairo?
