Ofgem: Gas companies ‘overcharging in many cases’
Energy regulator Ofgem is calling on energy firms to lower their prices after a two-year decline in wholesale costs.
Chief executive Dermot Nolan told the Today programme that gas companies were “overcharging in many cases”.
“The market is not working as competitively as it should be,” he told presenter Justin Webb.
