Former Tory minister: Paris climate summit 'triumphant deal'
A Conservative peer who advises the government on climate change said the deal at the Paris climate summit COP21 was remarkable, and did not seem achievable six months ago.
Lord Deben - previously known as the Tory MP and environment minister John Gummer - told Paddy O'Connell, that the independent Climate Change Committee, which he chairs, would hold the government to the carbon targets set by the deal.
