Is the golden age of the rom-com over?
What happened to rom-coms? Remember films like 'Notting Hill', 'Bridget Jones' or 'When Harry Met Sally'?
For years they were the staple diet at cinemas, but now it seems that billboards are filled with apocalyptic sci-fis, action films or bromances. The British Film Institute is hoping to rekindle our passion for love stories by screening a season of films across the country dedicated to love.
Rhidian Davis from the BFI and Tess Morris, writer of British rom-com 'Man Up', discussed the genre.
