India's net neutrality row
Net neutrality is the principle that every website, service and app is treated equally by an internet service provider or ISP. The idea is that a small start up should have the same chance to grab visitors as the biggest corporation. There was a big debate about it in the United States last year - but now the controversy has hit India, and it involves Internet.org: a project started by Facebook to bring internet access to the least connected areas. Abhimanyu Ghoshal is a reporter for the technology news website The Next Web, and is based in Bangalore.
