Pakistan strategy: 'no other way out to combat terrorism'
Speaking to Today's Jim Naughtie, political secretary, Dr Asif Kirmani condoned the Pakistan government's response to the Peshawar massacre, saying that "there is no other way out to combat terrorism."
Of the recent retaliations, Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan's high commissioner said that there was "opportunity in this adversity."
He advocated the need for 'deterrence', stating that Pakistan would "keep up the pressure".
