Hand it over
Simon King and the Springwatch team have been following a pair of hen harriers nesting on a heather moorland. The male is providing well, by doing most of the hunting for his mate and bringing back plenty of prey which he passes to the female mid-air. He's a bit nervous of her - she's much bigger than he is. She feeds on the ground, so may not have eggs in the nest yet or may already have well-grown young. She keeps bringing nest material back to the area where Simon King thinks her nest is hidden.
