As HARDtalk celebrates 20 years on air, Stephen Sackur talks to a Briton who has spent much of his life at the heart of the big political, diplomatic and cultural debates of the age. Lord Patten was a Conservative Cabinet minister under Margaret Thatcher and as an ardent advocate of the EU he later became a Commissioner in Brussels. He also served as Britain's last Governor of Hong Kong and is now Chancellor of Oxford University. Is Brexit Britain the stuff of his dreams or nightmares?
