Eye'll Be Back
Should robots pay tax or would that hurt their feelings? This week Click meets the robots of the future and the human eyeborg! Includes tech news.
The Click team speaks to the man known as Eyeborg. He fitted his prosthetic eye with a camera and now others want him to do the same for them. At MIT's Biomechanomics Lab, they look at the latest technologies in robotic prosthetics. With the devices becoming so sophisticated and powerful, some foresee a time when humans will opt to have prosthesis over normal limbs. Also in the programme they look at the power of visual search using AI and how it could change the way we find items on the internet. Plus should robots be taxed? Industry leaders and tech brains are pondering the answer.
