Children in Need 2026
Tune into this battle of the bargains between teams of BBC radio presenters, MC'ed by Christina Trevanion. Swapping beats for bargains are Radio 1, Radio 2 and Asian Network DJs.
In this special episode, four well-known Radio DJs go head-to-head at one of Britain’s biggest antiques fairs to raise money for charity. Hoping to spin loads of profits are BBC Radio 2’s OJ Borg and his teammate Melvin Odoom opposite BBC Asian Network’s Nikita Kanda and Radio 1’s Maia Beth.
Let’s hope their antiques experts Izzie Balmer and Nick Hall are on the same wavelength as they hunt for bargains among the stalls. A brass pipe sparks a conversation about foreign languages for the reds, but are they speaking the right lingo when it comes to negotiating a good price on some Scandinavian jewellery?
Across the fair, Nikita and Maia take a shine to a tatty footstool in the form of a bulldog, but Nick doubts it has any pedigree, and the musical blues compose their own Bargain Hunt song as they try to drum up a profit.
At the auction in Chippenham, Izzie confounds her team with a Japanese bonus buy, while Nick hopes his will take off with the bidders.
