UFOs: The Falkirk Triangle

UFOs, alien encounters, government cover-ups and mysterious lights in the sky - the myths surrounding extraterrestrial life have fascinated us for decades. But where does the truth end and the legend begin?

Zara and Evelyn head to Scotland’s infamous Falkirk Triangle, a UFO hotspot at the centre of extraordinary claims, to investigate why these stories take hold and whether there is any truth behind them. Meeting passionate UFO spotters, a sceptical academic and a former RAF press officer, they explore how science fiction, media hype and conspiracy theories have helped fuel our fascination with the unexplained. From claims of secret government files to the remarkable case of forestry worker Robert Taylor, whose alleged encounter in 1979 remains shrouded in mystery, Zara and Evelyn uncover the stories behind Scotland’s enduring UFO mythology.

With eyewitness accounts, archive footage and intriguing forensic evidence, can Zara and Evelyn separate fact from folklore? Are these sightings misunderstood phenomena, myths that have taken on a life of their own, or evidence that we’re not alone?
