Senior banking executives believe that the sector will be targeted with tax rises in the Budget later this month. The four biggest banks made about 15 billion pounds in profit in the first six months of the year, with the chancellor, John Healey, facing calls from some to use that money as a source of revenue. The trade body, UK Finance, has warned that further increases in bank taxes would weaken competitiveness and discourage investment. The treasury says it won't comment on speculation. Marvel fans around the world are set to meet a Welsh superhero - complete with a Cardiff accent. Lauren Morais, from the Welsh capital, will play Lisa Molinari in the new superhero series VisionQuest - a spin-off from the miniseries WandaVision. Speaking to Lucy Owen on BBC Radio Wales, Morais said she initially auditioned with an Essex accent for the part, not knowing if the Marvel team wanted a Welsh accent. But, later, she went for the Cardiff accent – and it made it into the show. Have you ever hidden your accent?
