Donald Macleod journeys through the life of Cyril Scott during the 1930s and Second World War, when Scott was in demand as a concert pianist but later faced financial hardship. Scott and his wife Rose had two children together, but with the outbreak of the war, husband and wife never lived together again and very much went their own ways.
