Teenage Mayday

A mayday comes in from a French yacht 16 miles west of St Helier, in the Channel Islands; on board are two teenage girls whose father is unconscious. On the Firth of Tay, the Broughty Ferry crew attempt to rescue a kayaker with the worst case of hypothermia they’ve ever encountered.

In Cowes, a yachtswoman has suffered a suspected spinal injury; and on the River Thames, the Teddington crew race to the rescue of a 92-year old woman who’s been cut off by the rapidly rising tide.
