The Special Operations Response Team deal with the aftermath of a public brawl in Glasgow City Centre. Elsewhere in the city, a crew treat a man who has collapsed in church.
John and Craig of the Special Operations Response Team are called to Glasgow City Centre, where a public brawl has broken out on a busy Saturday evening. At the scene, John helps to coordinate the ambulance response, engaging with police to help keep the two factions separate. Meanwhile, Craig treats someone who was caught up in the melee.
The next morning, ambulance crew Jim and Kire are called to a church in the south of the city. The patient is Ian, a member of the congregation who has collapsed complaining of chest pain. When the team get Ian into the back of their ambulance, they carry out an ECG of his heart, which gives some concerning readings.
Thirty miles away in Livingston, ambulance crew Aaron and Alex are called to see George, who has been found on the pavement close to his home after struggling with his speech and mobility for the past year. Although George hasn’t been injured in the fall, the team need to make sure he is safe to be left on his own. However, their concerns for George and his wife, Susan, grow when they take him home.
