Using his brilliant book, 'Where We Come From', Aniefiok Ekpoudom joins Huw to discuss how UK rap, grime and other sounds emerged and were celebrated on UK dance floors in the 2010s, exploding from the underground to dominate mainstream culture during that decade. They explore the massive influence of the West African diaspora and how migration history fundamentally shaped the music and the communities making it.
