Kathryn Tickell welcomes American musicians Nora Brown on banjo and voice, and Stephanie Coleman on fiddle and voice, to the Music Planet studio to perform songs from their deep and varied repertoire. A vital figure on New York City's tight-knit old-time music scene, Brown began playing with Coleman at the age of 12 before establishing herself as one of the leading voices of a new generation of artists reinterpreting classic tunes from the Appalachian tradition.
