Alex Jones chooses her Tracks of My Years

The One Show presenter Alex Jones chooses her Tracks Of My Years this week, starting with Glenn Medeiros and Bonnie Tyler.

'The One Show' presenter Alex Jones chooses her Tracks Of My Years this week, starting with telling Vernon stories of childhood camper van adventures and musical selections from Glenn Medeiros and Bonnie Tyler.

Plus two listeners take on Vernon's mid-morning music quiz Ten to the Top and Vernon delves into the BBC archives for Vernon's Vault. All amongst some great music to keep you smiling through the morning.

From Ammanford, Carmenthenshire, Alex initially wanted to be an actor and studied theatre, film and television at Aberystwyth University. Whilst there she filmed a reality TV show called Prickly Heat in Magaluf before taking some theatre roles and working in TV production, soon realising that she was most suited to being in front of the camera. She worked in sport and children’s TV, and on Welsh-language channel S4C before joining The One Show in 2010. Since then she's also presented various other programmes and events across the BBC, as well as taking part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2011. This month she's part of the team, alongside Vernon, celebrating The One Show's 20th anniversary.
