Adam Walton explores the work of American Physicist, Dr Robert Hutchings Goddard, who successfully launched the world’s first liquid-fuelled rocket back in 1926.
Joining Adam to discuss Goddard’s work is Professor John Blandino from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts, the same university where Goddard himself studied.
Plus, Doug Millard from the Science Museum in London tells us all about developments in modern rocketry.
