The Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue joins Vernon to choose ten songs that have soundtracked his life as the band release their eighth studio album, The User's Guide To Being Human, as well as playing Radio 2 In The Park in September.

Born in 1980 in Dublin, Danny's first professional musical venture was as part of the band Mytown, alongside his future bandmate Mark Sheehan. He then moved to LA to work as a songwriter before returning to Ireland and forming The Script in 2001. In 2008 they released their self-titled debut album which topped the UK and Ireland charts, including early hits like Breakeven and The Man Who Can't Be Moved. To date they have released seven albums, with six of them hitting #1 in the UK, selling over 20 million records worldwide. In 2023 founding member Mark Sheehan passed away after a brief illness. Away from the band Danny has also been a coach on two series of The Voice UK.
