Tony’s This Spiritual Life guest is acclaimed actor and writer Paterson Joseph. Over a career that has spanned more than 30 years, he’s played everything from heroes to villains, and is perhaps best known as the ruthless boss Alan Johnson in Peep Show. He’s also appeared alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in The Beach and Timothée Chalamet in Wonka. Alongside his acting career, Paterson is now an award-winning author whose books shine a light on overlooked figures from Black history.

And Tony hears all about Nerdcon, a Christian summer camp with a difference for young people in Scotland which appeals to their love of fantasy worlds, dressing up in costumes and board games! The idea came from a recognition that some young people - many of them creative or neurodivergent - might not naturally gravitate towards more traditional youth events.

And the Hebridean artist Scott C Park, who through his music explores his time as a committed teen Christian, church band player and the questions that followed.
