The reds and blues are spoilt for choice as they go shopping for collectibles in a jam-packed antiques centre in the Herefordshire town of Leominster.

Roo Irvine marvels at a treasure trove of jewellery and coins found by a metal detectorist in Herefordshire, now proudly on display at a museum in the county. Among the treasures is a 5th-century pendant made of rock crystal, a gold ring intriguingly decorated with rosettes and coins bearing images of Anglo-Saxon kings.

Hunting for treasure in nearby Leominster are two teams, guided by antiques experts Charles Hanson and Richard Madley. In red are besties Sandy and Chris. Married couple Jo and Dee are in blue. With 60 minutes on the clock, the red team considers pouring their money into a Chinese famille rose teapot, and across the antiques centre, the blues are weighing up whether they can afford a silver wine funnel. They are also reminded of a trip to Italy when they spot a Murano glass bowl. But will memories be made at the auction in north Wales when auctioneer Matthew Tong climbs the rostrum to sell their items?
