Dave Clarkson brings you Further Afield Recordings - a hauntological playlist from obscure locations of the British Isles.

The playlist compiles tracks with their roots in field recordings. These location recordings have then been re-fabricated, processed, mangled, untangled, enhanced and mixed with instrumentation and electronics, producing Further afield Recordings - tracks further afield from the original sound source. 

Manchester-based Dave Clarkson has been involved in electronic and experimental music for over 30 years. His current solo work includes the creation of a series of ‘A Pocket Guide to…’ albums using field recordings as source sound for music compositions. Dave is also a member of the bands Scissorgun, Spectral Bazaar and Lines of Silence.
