Inspector Purbright - Coffin Scarcely Used

When the proprietor of the local newspaper meets his death in curious circumstances at the foot of an electricity pylon, Inspector Purbright is put on the case.

His investigation unearths a whole series of bizarre events, in the seemingly sleepy little town of Flaxborough.

Starring Peter Jeffrey as the witty and methodical Detective Inspector Purbright.
