Vinyl Weekender: Record Store Day
Stuart plays some of his favourite classic tracks and new releases, as part of this year’s Record Store Day and 6 Music’s Vinyl Weekender, including a selection of 12" records.

To mark this year's Record Store Day - and as part of 6 Music's 'Vinyl Weekender' - Stuart spins a selection of classic tracks from his collection including some of his favourite 12" records. With music from artists including Chic, The Clash, The National, Charli xcx, The Mighty Diamonds, The Supremes and Lloyd Cole. He also plays a selection of tracks being released or reissued for Record Store Day 2026, including music from Hot Chip and CMAT.
With a selection of music old and new to get the weekend started. Plus, long-running feature ‘The Chain’ which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last. The list now contains over 8,700 songs.
