It’s approaching the business end of the season on A View from the Terrace, and we’re diving head-first into post-split chaos. We look ahead to the fixtures that will define everything, from title races to teams hanging on by their fingertips, and we look at Clydebank turning into Brazil and why the kids are alright at Rangers.
Then we get stuck into relegation, where things have gone from bad to hilarious. We look at two clubs circling the drain, one who might drop two seasons in a row and one giant who might fall for the first ever time. We ask whether ‘the drop’ is ever a good thing and laugh at some of the most Shakespearean relegations in history.
Then we celebrate the moments in football that you can proudly say ‘I was there’, from 48-hour bus journeys to Munich, wonder goals when no-one is watching and two perfect free kicks that were almost certainly not tainted minutes later.
And we meet a 13-year-old commentator already on the mic with confidence beyond his years, proving once again that football will always find new voices, no matter where they come from.
All that, and more nonsense, as the season edges towards its grand finale.
