Generations of Jazz: Femi Koleoso and Courtney Pine in the studio

Gilles welcomes Ezra Collective’s drummer Femi Koleoso into the studio to mark the 10th anniversary of the group’s debut album, Chapter 7, with unheard stories and exclusive tracks.

Later in the show, Gilles is joined by a legend of British jazz, saxophonist Courtney Pine, who is celebrating 40 years since the release of his first album, Journey to the Urge Within, a recording that established him as one of the country’s most influential jazz musicians.
